Research Areas

The Microwave Device Laboratory (MDL) conducts research on advanced electromagnetic and high-frequency technologies for next-generation wireless communication and electronic systems. Our research areas include antennas and RF/mmWave devices, electromagnetics and microwave engineering, metasurfaces and frequency-selective surfaces, EMI/EMC and electromagnetic shielding, transparent conductive structures, and semiconductor-related devices.

MDL focuses on the design, analysis, and implementation of high-frequency devices and electromagnetic structures for communication, sensing, wave control, and shielding applications. We also investigate transparent antennas, smart surfaces, and multifunctional electromagnetic structures for next-generation semiconductor and electronic systems.
